Our Crookedstone solar farm, which powers Belfast International Airport, scooped the award for Best Environmental Initiative at the Airport Operators Association awards last night. In order to win, Lightsource had to be nominated by Belfast International Airport into the AOA awards and both marketing teams worked closely together to produce the award entry.<\/p>\n

Judges were particularly impressed with the airport\u2019s reduction in electricity consumption from the grid as well as the valuable contribution the solar farm is making towards lowering their carbon footprint.<\/p>\n
