Our Sandy Creek project consists of a 840MWdc solar farm and battery energy storage system (BESS), located approximately 25km southwest of Dunedoo and 30km north-west of Gulgong, within the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone.
The proposed solar project is being assessed as a State Significant Development (SSD), under Part 4 of the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) is the determining authority for SSD applications.
The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was submitted to DPHI in May 2024 for assessment.
