Approved solar farm near Cliff Lane, Marston, Grantham, NG32 2HU
The approved proposal involves Lightsource bp funding the development of a solar installation that will have an output power capacity of 49.9MW (Megawatts).
We undertook a wide range of environmental assessments to select the site area shown below, including landscape and visual, heritage and archaeology, ecology and more.
We held a virtual community consultation session, which took place on Thursday 22nd October, in the form of a video presentation and live Q&A session. Before the event, we sent a press release to the local paper, and an information leaflet was posted to nearby residents. This project was sold in 2022.
