Lightsource bp deepens involvement with Solar Energy UK
Today we’re proud to announce that we’re broadening our commitment to Solar Energy UK, the UK’s established solar trade association, working for and representing the entire solar and energy storage value chain.
Lightsource bp has been a member of SEUK for many years, working closely with CEO Chris Hewett and his team to help drive the progress of UK solar, and we’re thrilled to now raise our membership to sponsorship level as the industry works to meet the targets of 70GW of capacity by 2035.
We’re looking forward to continuing our work with SEUK on the Government’s Solar Taskforce, helping to shape solar’s roadmap for the future in the UK. At Lightsource bp, we’re dedicated to enabling the low carbon transition on a local and global basis, and working with trade associations is an important part of that.
Declan Keiley, Head of Development UK & Ireland at Lightsource bp, said: “We are delighted to be deepening our relationship with Solar Energy UK at this crucial time in UK Solar. We look forward to working closely with Chris’s excellent team as well as the other Sponsors and wider membership on our shared mission to drive forward solar deployment in the UK in support of the UK’s Net Zero and Energy Security targets, whilst reducing electricity costs for customers.”
