Lightsource bp renews membership with the Country Land and Business Association
Lightsource bp is committed to forging strong partnerships and lasting relationships with organisations that are dedicated to supporting people and communities that are key to our business. As part of that, Lightsource bp is proud to announce that we’re resuming our membership of the CLA as we continue our efforts to drive solar forwards across the UK.
The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) exists to champion, protect and enhance the rural economy, environment and way of life, which aligns the organisation perfectly with Lightsource bp and our goals. Their aspirations are to unlock the potential of the rural economy by promoting innovative ideas to a national audience and providing practical support to members, so they can produce homegrown food, create jobs and prosperity, invest in communities and protect the environment for future generations.
These ambitions have long matched the ethos of Lightsource bp, and the company worked closely with the CLA throughout the solar subsidy years, providing feedback on policy and sponsorship for events, and holding membership on a national and regional level.
Now, as Lightsource bp continues to invest in the UK solar industry, and Government has reaffirmed its commitments to Net Zero and Energy Security, we’re looking forward to using our close working relationship with the CLA to demonstrate all the ways in which solar can continue to be a positive proposition for rural communities across the country.
