Taking solar plans to the local community
Last week, we hosted an information event in Marston to bring our proposal for the Green Lane solar farm to the local community. We set up in the Olde Barn Hotel from 4.30pm til 6pm, with our plans on display, and welcomed neighbours, councillors and interested parties over the course of the afternoon.
Our team spoke to 15 members of the public over the course of the afternoon, discussing our plans, answering questions and giving out additional information. Engaging with the local community is a key part of our development process – we select our sites carefully, conduct a wide range of environmental assessments and then reveal our plans to the local area to ask for further feedback. To find out more about our Green Lane solar project, and to get in touch with our team, take a look at our project page.
