Building meaningful careers, in a time of transition
Building meaningful careers, in a time of transition
We are building more than solar farms here at Lightsource bp, we are also building meaningful careers that our colleagues can take pride in, as we help advance the transition to a clean energy future.
To help our office-based colleagues understand what goes on at a solar site, we’ve decided to organise regular site visits to give them a chance to understand the projects we’ve developed and learn how they operate. This provides them with an opportunity to ask our operations and maintenance team questions.
We’ve found these trips to be considerably valuable for our colleagues, helping them feel proud of the work that they contribute towards. Find out how they felt about the experience by watching the video below and reading a short blog post from a recent trip to our Manor Farm site in the UK in September 2022.
