Nick Boyle features on DealMakers podcast

Nick Boyle officeNick Boyle, our Group CEO, was the focus of the latest DealMakers podcast — a series of podcasts that charts the journey of notable business leaders across the world.

In this episode, ‘Nick Boyle On Raising Billions To Change The Way Our World Is Powered‘, Nick speaks about the need to shift to more sustainable energy, the power of predictable solar energy and how we can enable the world to rely on more renewables.

We also get insight into Nick’s previous experience and journey to launch Lightsource bp, and what those early days looked like.

In response to how exciting it will be when the potential of Lightsource bp is fully realised, Nick says:

“The target and the drive for Lightsource bp is to put as much new renewables into the market as is possible. The ultimate goal, obviously, is to shift the world to renewables — but that’s not something that can be done overnight.

“The massive directional positive is that we’re doing something that’s pushing against an open door — whether that’s governments, businesses, even the oil and gas companies…they’re all pushing towards renewables being the area of focus, rather than the maintenance of status quo.”
