2023 Top Workplaces USA

Lightsource bp named one of America’s top workplaces

Lightsource bp has been recognised as one of the 2023 Top Workplaces in the USA by Energage, based on their engagement platform that collects direct feedback from team members.

Top Workplaces USA celebrates organizations with 150 or more employees that have built great cultures. Winners are chosen based solely on team member feedback gathered through an employee engagement survey, issued by Energage. Nearly 85% of Lightsource bp’s 230+ USA team members responded to the survey.

“What makes achieving this recognition so meaningful is that it’s based on direct feedback from our team members,” said Kevin Smith, CEO of the Americas. “Our people are the reason for our success, so seeing their fulfillment and pride reflected in these results reinforces that we’re creating a culture where they know they are valued and can thrive with a meaningful career path.”

Team member survey results indicate that Lightsource bp’s culture excels in several areas, including team member appreciation, meaningful work, company values, inclusion, and innovation.

The survey identified Lightsource bp’s top three organizational strengths as:

  • Clued-in Employees: Team members feel informed about important decisions
  • Meaningfulness: Team members feel like they are part of something meaningful
  • Innovation: Team members feel encouraged to share new ideas

The Top Workplaces program has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces USA survey.

Results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
