Lightsource bp founder recognised with UK solar achievement award
Lightsource bp is delighted to share that its co-founder, Nick Boyle, has been recognised by the UK Solar & Storage Live Awards with the lifetime achievement accolade.
Nick co-founded Lightsource bp in 2010, leading the company from six people to more than 1,200. Under his guidance, the business quickly became the market leader in the UK before becoming one of the global leaders in solar development.
“I’m truly humbled to accept this Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s an honour that reflects not just my work, but the incredible work of everyone at Lightsource bp, both past and present,” said Nick.
“I never imagined we’d come this far, or that I would have the privilege of leading such a dedicated team of innovators and pioneers. This award belongs to them as much as it does to me. Together, we’ve shown that sustainability and success can go hand in hand, and I believe the best is yet to come.
